Amen! I’m alive because HE LIVES! Oh death! Where is your sting?! Oh hell! Where is your victory? Our God is not dead, he is ALIVE!!! 💛 💛 Happy Easter! He is RISEN!!!! 💛 💛 “Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. and we wait. We wait for the coming of the Lord. We wait for the prophecy to be fulfilled. We wait for our suffering to pass. We wait with HOPE that he IS coming back!!! . . “I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭130:1-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“There in the ground, his body lay. Light of the world by darkness slain.” . . Thankful that Sunday is coming but it is important to reflect on this day of darkness. On this Good Friday that God gave his son to suffer on behalf of US. . . “He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
