What is it about wax seals that are so satisfying? The chocolate-like melting and pouring of the wax? The pressing of the stamp and displacing of the wax? The big reveal of the perfectly imperfect seal? You tell me? I love it all.

Back from the Florida sunshine... we are looking forward to re-entry from my husband’s sabbatical. Sunday we will be back at our church and then start back to a daily routine!

Alrighty, I’m a little late to the voting party, (for good reason right?) But voting is now OPEN for best of for @wisconsinbride magazine. Now, it would be totally an honor to win three times in a row for best calligraphy biz, however another one of my goals is to get more Lake Geneva area wedding Vendors recognized. Sure Milwaukee and Madison are awesome places to get married however, I believe we have the BEST vendors. Yes, im biased. That’s fine. ;)

Being unplugged has been so wonderful and enlightening.

Pure Joy Ink update! Hey friends and fam! We made it to the last two weeks of Jumanji.... errr 2020 I mean! High fives all around. 🙌🏻 I know it has been a trying year for many, but also a year full of gratitude and growth! There’s always something to be thankful for and find JOY in. At least, when you know Jesus, there’s an indescribable amount of peace and hope available every day! I pray you find this too as we head into another God given year.
